Gould was the first placekicker in Bears history to be selected to the Pro Bowl after leading all kickers with 143 points during the 2006 season... He was named All-Pro (Associated Press, USA Today, The Sporting News and ESPN.com)…Gould entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent by New England in 2005 and later signed by Baltimore to the practice squad and was waived two weeks later, before signing with the Bears in October 2005…Gould played college football at Penn State as a freshman walk-on where he finished his career ranked fifth on the Nittany Lion’s all-time scoring list with 232 career points.
