Career Highlights: Jonathan Ogden is one of the most celebrated offensive lineman in the history of the NFL…In his 12-year NFL career he played in 177 games, all for the Baltimore Ravens…Ogden was named All-Pro nine times and is an 11-time Pro Bowler at left tackle, earning trips to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii for an 11-year span from 1997-2007…During the 1996 NFL Draft, Ogden was selected by the Ravens in the first round with the fourth overall selection (ironically, the first ever draft pick made by Baltimore)…Ogden, who possesses a rare blend of both size, power and agility, he excelled in both run blocking and pass blocking…In his career, he also caught two passes, both for one yard touchdowns…He also recovered seven fumbles and recorded 10 tackles in his NFL career…In 2000, Ogden won a Super Bowl championship ring with the Ravens when they defeated the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV…In college at UCLA, Ogden excelled in both football and track and field…An All-American in both sports, he was a legitimate Olympic level shot-putter who won the 1996 NCAA indoor track title in the shot put…While with the UCLA Bruin football team, he started at left tackle for four years…In 23 games during his junior and senior years, he allowed just two sacks…In 1995 Ogden was recognized for his talents as he won the Outland Trophy and the Morris Trophy…He also was the United Press International Lineman of the Year and was a unanimous First-Team All-American…Ogden was inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 and is only one of eight players in Bruins history to have his jersey retired (#79).
